Summary of Role:

You will be a part of a team making semiconductor chips / technology that is used in cellphones, computers, tablets, vehicles and more! Our operators work on our toolsets and equipment through computers and modules. This is a summer seasonal position, working full time production hours (12 hour shifts) during the timeframe of approximately early May to late August. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to make some extra money during this summer, and to have 3-4 days off / week! Location: Essex Junction, VT
Hourly Rate Day Shift 7:00am to 7:00pm: $21
Hourly Rate Night Shift 7:00pm to 7:00am: $23.63 (includes shift differential)
Schedules: Work approximately 14 Days per Month!

Essential Responsibilities Include:

• Work in a clean room environment wearing gloves and a clean room suit
• Sustain and run the manufacturing floor
• Set up and operate equipment per Standard Operating Procedures
• Work in a team environment to meet production goals

Other Responsibilities:

Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Other responsibilities as assigned by manager

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Language Fluency
• English (Written & Verbal)
• Ability to stand for a 12-hour shift (excluding breaks)
• Must be comfortable wearing a clean room uniform
• Ability to comply with all Global Foundries pre-employment screening requirements
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a periodic basis throughout the shift
• Must have basic computer and email skills
• Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to receive and follow instructions
• Ability to find information in a spreadsheet or on a website
• Strong attention to detail
• Prior work experience in a manufacturing setting

Expected Salary Range

$35,400.00 - $55,300.00

The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
