Job Description Summary:
Analyst Mfg Technical Training, reporting to the Director of GFES (Global Fab Engineering Services) Program Management, is primarily responsible for improving the technical training foundation within the Global Foundries Manufacturing organization. This role involves standardizing and modernizing training content, executing training programs, and setting up a technical training performance dashboard. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Global Foundries’ Learning Management System (LMS) to support workforce capability and ensure compliance, including demonstrating the ability to work flexibly and adaptably in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review training materials from a variety of sources and choose appropriate materials needed to deliver the best training to the protegee
- Assist in the evaluation of training programs
- Perform administrative tasks such as monitoring costs, scheduling classes, setting up systems and equipment, and coordinating enrollment
- Enhance employees’ skills, performance, productivity, and quality of work
- Close the gap between employee training desires and company needs
- Mapping out development plans for teams and individuals
- Analyzing metrics and designing reports
- Ensure training projects are completed on time, within budget, and with a high level of quality
- Continuously evaluates the relevancy and accuracy of curricula content and monitors the process and impact of training on learning and on-the-job performance, including modernizing the training materials
Other responsibilities:
- Understand complex relationships and content and communicate them in a structured way
- Ability to work flexibly and adaptably in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and respond to changing priorities to meet business needs
- Ability to influence and persuade others to support goals or actions without relying on positions of power
Qualifications:
- Completed bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communication Information Systems, or relevant field
- Proficiency in Sum Total LMS or similar management systems is preferred
- 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible experience in training development is preferred
- Strong project coordination skills
- Data-driven mindset with attention to details
- Good skill set in utilizing presentation tools such as: PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, and other engaging presentation programs
- String attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills at all levels of the organization
