Introduction:

This position is for a junior level individual contributor role within GF Design Enablement organization, located in Singapore.

This position is responsible for developing and publishing Design Manual (DM) specifications, a key deliverable, for GF customers. The DM team sits at the crossroads of multiple disciplines, coordinating inputs and ensuring timely execution. In addition, DM team creates and maintains Design Rules that integrate technology, manufacturing, and business needs. These rules are carefully engineered and qualified to secure the competitiveness and manufacturability of GF’s advanced technologies.
Your Job:

  • Deliver high-quality Design Manuals (DMs) and provide comprehensive design support to customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (process, device, reliability, and design enablement) to develop, evaluate, and validate technology design rules and Boolean operations.
  • Create and maintain mini DRC decks to enable physical design rule evaluation and verification.
  • Design and implement layout Design of Experiments (DoE) and develop Test Structures to validate design rules on silicon.
  • Perform in-depth silicon data analysis and drive design rule enhancements based on data insights to optimize GF technologies.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum BS in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
  • Relevant working/internship experience in semicon industry, familiar with Fab processes
  • Experience in handling software engineering /tech design and enablement
  • Fluency in English Language – written & verbal

Preferred Qualifications:

  • M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics or relevant fields in software engineering
  • Programming skill is preferred
