Introduction

Global Foundries is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Test Analyst/Software Administrator to support testing activities across Enterprise solutions that cover ERP/CRM/PLM M&A and Business Capability/Productivity Enhancements. This role is part of the Enterprise Test / QMO organization and plays a key part in ensuring high‑quality delivery through structured testing practices, risk‑based analysis, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has hands‑on expertise with requirements‑based testing, strong understanding of ERP business processes, and experience testing applications supported through CI/CD DevOps(e.gAzure DevOps or GIT). The analyst must be proficient software Administration of ALM SaaS and On Prem solutions (prefer Tricentis q Test for test management and TOSCA for automation development and execution and Load Runner for performance testing).

Key Responsibilities

Test Planning & Requirements Alignment

  • Analyze business requirements and user stories from SAP S/4HANA and ADO environments to ensure complete test coverage.

  • Translate requirements into structured test scenarios, suites, and test cases using q Test, aligned with GF testing standards and templates.

  • Support risk‑based test planning by identifying high‑impact processes, integrations, and data flows.

Test Execution & Defect Management

  • Execute test cycles across SIT, UAT, regression, and performance‑related phases.

  • Log, track, and retest defects in q Test and coordinate with cross‑functional teams (Functional SMEs, Developers, POs, and Build Teams).

  • Support integration testing, data validation, cutover testing, and end‑to‑end business process validation.

Automation & Tooling

  • Develop and maintain TOSCA automation modules where applicable (e.g., regression & repetitive scenarios).

  • Leverage q Test for requirements traceability, test execution reporting, defect workflow management, and audit compliance.

  • Support automation identification for regression cycles following test automation standards.

Testing Software Administration

  • Installation of On Premise Automation and or Performance testing software including the security readiness, justification, and execution tasks necessary.

  • Maintenance of On Premise applications (e.g. Manage and execute upgrades, maintain security certificates, integration with other applications to improve productivity (e.g. APIs or pipelines/ scheduled jobs)

  • Support Administrative tasks for SaaS solutions (user management, artifact loading, etc).

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with global teams in the US, Europe, and Asia to align on testing timelines, dependencies, and readiness.

  • Participate in test triage meetings, contributing to prioritization and resolution alignment.

Continuous Improvement

  • Apply lessons learned from each testing cycle to improve test design quality, test data readiness, documentation, and tooling efficiency.

  • Be aware of upcoming upgrade schedules and plan around testing cycles to avoid conflicts/downtime.

  • Recommend process optimizations based on recurring defect patterns and gaps.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Should have 6 to 7 years of ERP testing exposure (Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Master Data).

  • CI/CD DevOps experience reviewing requirements, tracking user stories, validating acceptance criteria, and linking requirements to q Test test cases.

  • Hands‑on experience with Tricentis q Test (test design, test execution, defect logging, reporting).

  • Strong experience with Testing automation tools (prefer Tricentis TOSCA).

  • Skilled at test automation library maintenance and execution readiness.

  • Experience with Performance Testing (e.g. Load Runner)

  • Strong understanding of risk‑based testing methodologies and test coverage strategies.

  • Familiarity with Enterprise Release Testing Strategies (SIT, UAT, Regression, DR2/Cutover, performance cycles) and the artifacts associated.

  • Experience in administration of SaaS and On Prem testing software including installation, upgrades, certificates maintenance, API and integration with other systems, etc. is preferred.

Professional Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Strong analytical thinking and structured problem‑solving abilities.

  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple testing streams.

  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, global, matrixed environment.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across different time zones and stakeholder groups.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, or complex ERP/CRM/PLM environments.

  • Prior participation in large‑scale transformation programs (such as S/4HANA).

  • Exposure to Service Now intake processes for testing‑related requests.
