Introduction:
The Senior Accountant job role is a team player, focused on financial control, compliance, and complex operational accounting, particularly within a manufacturing (inventory related - focus).
Your Job:
-
Audit Coordination: Serve as a key point of contact and actively participate in annual internal and external audits, preparing necessary schedules (SOX compliance), Inventory / Costing Controls SOX documentations, and assist in answering auditor inquiries

Internal Controls: Develop, document, and monitor internal control procedures to safeguard company inventories and ensure the accuracy of financial data.

Month-End, Qtr end & Year-End Close: Execute the procedures for closing the financial including posting complex journal entries, working closely within cross functional team within Finance.
Account Reconciliation: Perform and review reconciliations of all key balance sheet accounts (Global Inventory) and the general ledger to ensure accuracy.
- Reporting: Support inventory-related policy updates & any other adhoc requests (e.g Quarterly Corporate reporting inventory-related transactions)
Other Responsibilities:
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Required Qualifications:

Education BS in Accountancy

Min 6 years experience in similar role.

Fluency in English Language – written & verbal
Preferred Qualifications:

Standard Costing experience
-
Oracle / SAP system experience
