Introduction

Design, develop, implement, and support Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) Systems related to FDC system. Ensure 100% system availability and performance level to enable Fab meet its Yield/Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing goals.

Your Job

  • Provide Level 2 Operations Support to ensure System Availability & Performance

Start / shutdown FDC application components as and when required.

  • Troubleshoot any FDC integration issues to other Applications that include Si View, MSP and MQ.

  • Provide consultation on FDC functions, work with Users to fully exploit FDC capabilities.

  • Monitor the FDC system performance by daily review of the trend chart and take appropriate action.

  • Perform regular data housekeeping

  • Perform FMEA, implement monitoring, alert and recovery scripts and SOPs

  • Take action for the e-alerts received.

  • To train and lead CIM AE in the performance of Level 1 Support tasks. Analyze issue logs and implement continuous improvements to reduce issues.

  • Understand end user goals/priorities and domain knowledge; develop, test and document cost-effective CIM/FDC Solutions to attain Quality, Cycle Time, Throughput, Equipment Utilization goals and increase User Productivity and prevent human errors.

  • Develop application functionality training materials and conduct training for End Users

  • Perform acceptance tests for solutions developed by peers and vendors.

  • Work on improvement projects in Solutions, Systems and Infrastructure to improve data integrity, system robustness, availability and performance.

  • Work with IT to ensure effective backups and restore; meeting customer and audit requirements

  • Plan for FDC system major and minor version upgrades and achieve error-free upgrade rollouts

Job requirements

  • Degree/Master in Electrical/Electronics or Communications Engineering, Mechanical or Production Engineering, Applied Science, Computer Engineering or related fields

  • Engineer: 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in high tech manufacturing environment, preferably in Semiconductor manufacturing environment.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Good team player with strong leadership qualities.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Independent and self-motivated.
