Introduction
As the End Market manager in Greater China, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our new business in one of the most dynamic and rapidly evolving markets in the world. This position is not just about business development; it’s about strategically aligning our technical and manufacturing capabilities of GF. You will be working very closely with other end market managers and sales managers to ensure the success of bringing in new business. Your primary focus area will be to grow our business development funnel in edge devices, IoT connectivity, connected sensor, novel displays, power management and edge AI applications.

Your Job:

Strategic Chinese fabless and OEM business Development: Formulate and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy to win China fabless and OEM new business.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, industry associations, and government entities.

Market Analysis: Spend effort in understanding the OEM products, fabless supplier roadmaps and business model.

Deliver market requirement document (MRD) and business development strategy for the targeted market.

Serve as a company champion with strong customer relationship.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (Product lines, Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain) to ensure alignment on partnership initiatives and leverage synergies across departments.

Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics to evaluate the success of partnerships and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree or higher with experience in the semiconductor industry (engineering or business) or related field; MBA preferred.
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic partnerships or business development within the semiconductor industry or related technology sectors.

Product management and domain and architecture knowledge of IoT, industrial and consumer electronic systems
-
Understanding of semiconductor foundry technology offerings and value propositions
-
Proven track record of successfully managing complex partnerships and driving business growth.

Strong understanding of the semiconductor market dynamics in Greater China.

Excellent negotiation skills with a results-oriented mindset.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
-
Provide consistent and clear communications between all project stakeholders and report on progress to the senior leadership team.

Ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively with international and diverse teams and with multiple levels of management.

Fluency in Mandarin (Chinese) and English is required, written & verbal.

Travel

Up to 50% travel required.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in engineering or science along with MBA or master’s in business management.

Experience designing integrated circuits including digital, analog and mixed signal applications
-
Understanding of advanced CMOS, power application, embedded NVM and RF processes features
-
Experience managing semiconductor supply chain and quality issues.
-
Strong team player with a positive attitude and proactive work ethic. Ability to identify opportunities and independently pursue.
