Job Description:
Gilead Sciences is a biopharmaceutical company that discovers, develops and commercializes innovative therapeutics in areas of unmet medical need. Knowledge:

In-depth understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
-
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to follow general instructions for routine tasks and detailed instructions for new assignments.

Competence in adhering to written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Master Batch Records, taking independent action only with departmental approval.

Initiative and problem-solving skills in issue resolution.

Experience in operating a forklift or powered industrial truck.

Strong commitment to safety, adhering strictly to established safety practices and standards.
Education and Experience Requirements:
-
Relevant experience in a cGMP-related industry.
-
High School Diploma and a Certificate to FETAC level 6 (GSL) are required.
Specific Job Responsibilities:
-
Perform basic to routine tasks following established SOPs, Master Batch Records, and cGMPs.
-
Regularly report to the Team Lead on line performance and issues needing resolution.
-
Troubleshoot complex issues independently.
-
Engage in more intricate manufacturing processes and tasks.
-
Collaborate with other manufacturing technicians under the guidance of a Team Leader.
-
Assist in manufacturing products, moving materials, and preparing products according to SOPs.
-
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot equipment in clean room environments.
-
Secure equipment and machinery and complete all necessary paperwork at the end of shifts.
-
Manually clean and CIP equipment for production.
-
Interact with scientists, engineers, and production staff.
-
Record product and order information accurately on specified forms and records.
-
Inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure they meet specifications.
-
Train junior staff and ensure work is performed according to quality standards and SOPs.
