Job Description:

Digital Marketing Operations Manager (m/f/d)

The Commercial Operations team in our German affiliate is looking for a Manager – Digital Marketing Operations to help us take our omnichannel activities to the next level. This is a unique opportunity to shape our digital infrastructure and enhance customer engagement through innovative (digital) channels and engagement journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Business Partnering:Act as a trusted advisor to Business Unit (BU) marketing and sales teams, co-developing and executing omnichannel strategies and campaigns that strengthen market leadership and deliver a seamless, customer-centric experience aligned with strategic imperatives.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership:Drive a KPI-oriented, end-to-end planning and execution approach for omnichannel campaigns. Proactively engage key stakeholders across functions to ensure alignment and impact.
  • Performance Analytics: Monitor and analyze campaign performance, delivering actionable insights and optimization recommendations in close collaboration with Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) and Business Analytics (BA) teams.
  • Digital Channel Expertise:Provide strategic and technical guidance for the development, launch, and continuous improvement of digital engagement channels and media platforms.
  • Content & Asset Management:Support the maintenance and enhancement of digital content across selected engagement channels. Enable modular content strategies and asset management to ensure agility and consistency.
  • Stakeholder Coordination:Serve as the central point of contact between marketing teams, digital agencies, and international headquarters to ensure effective execution of brand strategies and infrastructure rollouts.
  • Innovation Enablement: Champion a culture of digital innovation by promoting emerging technologies and new engagement channels to foster competitive differentiation. Stay abreast of the latest digital marketing trends and identify opportunities to enhance digital capabilities and drive continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Academic Background:University degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Industry Experience:Proven track record in digital marketing, ideally within the biotech, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sector.
  • Omnichannel Expertise:Deep understanding of omnichannel marketing strategies and customer engagement across digital touchpoints.
  • Analytical Skills:Strong ability to interpret campaign data and translate insights into actionable recommendations for performance optimization.
  • Tool Proficiency:Hands-on experience with digital marketing platforms and tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Sitecore, and Veeva.
  • Communication & Collaboration:Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Accountability & Precision:High level of ownership for the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of key data and reporting deliverables.
  • Digital Mindset:Passion for digital innovation and continuous learning, with a proactive approach to staying ahead of emerging trends and technologies.
