POSITION OVERVIEW The Maintenance Supervisor provides front line safety and engagement-based leadership to achieve top tier results through maintaining their production systems.

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for building capability in and delivering support to system area owners as well as shift team members supporting plant operations.

The Maintenance Supervisor works to eliminate losses following a rigorous daily process that is data driven and focused on root cause elimination.

The Maintenance Supervisor is accountable to improve the reliability of their systems through leading their team in maintenance foundational systems, technical problem solving and continuous improvement tools.

The Maintenance Supervisor provides direct leadership to the department Maintenance Capability Specialists.

For this role, we anticipate the hours being roughly 7am - 4pm.

Foster a culture that reduces risk to our people and communities by increasing capability to identify and control critical risk.

Specifically, responsible for leading machine safety improvements by assessing HSE risks, prioritizing safeguarding plans to eliminate critical exposures, collaborating on incident analysis to understand risk exposure, and developing safeguarding solutions that enable team members to fail safely.

Cultivate Food Safety Culture that is committed to manufacturing safe food that is compliant with policy and regulatory requirements.

  • People Leadership and Floor Capability Building Care for your whole team, fostering retention and engagement Commitment to personal growth and open to feedback Coaching and developing employees Build capability of the team to understand their equipment at a component level in addition to identifying and resolving defects and improving asset life Analysis of equipment performance and improving component life Leads portions of the daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly DDS (daily direction setting) meetings, including: Daily reporting and prioritization of defects found/ fixed as well as total backlog Daily reporting of breakdowns and effectiveness of Breakdown Elimination process Contribute to development and execution of the plan for the day Weekly tracking and reporting of maintenance measurement data
  • Backlog, MTTC, PM Completion (Indicators of maintenance health) Identifies and address safety risks related to maintenance activities (standard and non-standard) and prioritizes safety risks identified through DH.

Includes maintenance work completed during planned stops.

Deliver spring plan Maintenance & Reliability Costs for the Line/Platform (Materials, Services, OT) Manage the Maintenance Capability Specialists: Daily staffing Directing work for maintenance related activities Shift Hand-offs Workbrain/Workforce Onboarding of employees Team Development Pay and Performance management and incentives Own accuracy and timeliness of performance metrics Execution of improvement plan actions Coordination/ execution of shutdown activities Maintenance Foundational Systems Lead Defect Handling, Breakdown Elimination, Shop Tools, and Budget Management for their platform Health of DH system: Leads documentation of standards and coaches the team through the identification, prioritization, and resolution of defects Leads Breakdown Elimination for their platform team Manages Shutdown and Downtime activities Planning & Scheduling: Partner with Maintenance Asset Care Leader to ensure planning, scheduling, and work assignments are being prioritized correctly as it relates to addressing top stops/ losses, including ownership of shutdown planning for the line/platform Sustaining Performance and Improving Results Supports development and leads execution of 90-Day improvement plan to deliver glidepath through loss elimination MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma 2+ years of manufacturing, frontline leadership, or technical leadership experience Demonstrated leadership and working in a highly collaborative environment Success in driving results through process and teamwork Building capability and coaching others in building capability Understanding of the steps to reduce losses and improve performance in a manufacturing setting Demonstrated technical capability and knowledge of unit operations and machinery (at least one production platform) Foundational knowledge of data analysis systems (examples: SAP, Maximo, Manufacturing Analytics, MQIS) and decision making for results

Experience: in maintenance, reliability, and manufacturing Strong computer skills Must have good understanding and a broad range of experience in the following areas: Materials: metals, plastics, elastomers, composites, coatings, etc.

Fabrication methods: welding, machining, surface treatment, etc.

Engineering skills: reading prints, measuring, and specifying Fastening and joining: methods and materials Mechanical, electrical system knowledge Lubrication principles Knowledge of the skill level of different crafts Craft worker experience or very strong knowledge of craft duties and capabilities Able to lead cross functionally through influence Able to achieve technical mastery of equipment and develop it in others Practical knowledge of Maximo and Maintenance Planning & Scheduling Understanding of maintenance and reliability performance metrics PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree (Technical/Science/Engineering/Mechatronics preferred) 4+ years of manufacturing, frontline leadership, or technical leadership experience CMRP, MLTI certifications ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS International relocation or international remote working arrangements (outside of the US) will not be considered.

Salary: Range The salary range for this position is $70100.00 - $105200.00 / Annually.
