General Production Labor-2nd Shift

POSITION SUMMARY: This position is for entry level non-skilled general labor in the production of pet treats. Team member is responsible for general production tasks and maintaining a safe work environment in compliance with Tyson policies and procedures. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform responsibilities, as assigned, in compliance with all safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required Ability to perform basic math functions (adding, subtracting, fractions, etc.) Ensures product is produced in a safe manner that meets Tyson quality standards Must be able to stand and walk for 8 to 12 hours a day Must be able to push/pull/lift up to 40 lbs. with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder levels Job requires bending, twisting, stretching, and reaching high and low Must be able to perform repetitive motions, such as pinching and grasping, and flex/grip with wrist/hands. Must be willing to work in an environment with raw and cooked meat Must be willing to work in a cold, hot, wet, and/or humid work environment while wearing required gear and all appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Must be willing to perform some jobs at elevated heights Must be willing to work weekends and overtime, if scheduled No experience necessary WORK SHIFT: 2nd Shift – 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. COMPANY OVERVIEW We exist to make food the world loves.
