KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Build Capability in Others Build capability in team members through maintenance of foundational system capability within your team Build, mentor, and coach the team’s technical equipment capability, and when required, facilitate hands-on demonstrations to validate learning outcomes.
Build the team’s troubleshooting capability and, when needed, coordinate and/or assist the team to solve the problem.
Leverage problem-solving processes Onboard new members to the shift Process Leadership and Ownership Driving System Utilization (DSU): Engage in Improvement Plan creation and execution.
Daily Direction Setting (DDS): Engage in daily loss elimination via the shift DDS plan for the day.
Support data accuracy and CMMS utilization.
Learning System: Responsible for executing and monitoring the learning plan.
Enable shift team members to progress in their learning.
Create, maintain, and improve learning materials and programs.
Identify and address skill gaps on the team that are related to losses.
Enable training by freeing up the right resources to develop knowledge and skill.
Reinforce process rigor through checking for understanding and assessments.
Facilitate change management for continuous improvement in technology.
Safety Support Human and Food Safety Build the capability of the team via Human Safety and Food Safety standards Take action to mitigate human and food safety risks through work as done conversations and when risk mitigation opportunities are known.
Know Your Operation, Data, and Technology Gain working knowledge to collect, analyze, and interpret data to make informed decisions.
Build in-depth knowledge of production system and equipment to effectively: Troubleshoot and build operational mastery of the workforce.
Support new equipment and processes as they are introduced (vendor visits, improvements, and new performance requirements).
Secure fluency of Problem-Solving tools and processes Increase proficiency in creating, maintaining, and utilizing a training/skills matrix to identify skill gaps, develop training plans, and track employee progress.
This position will provide backup support as needed, ensuring business continuity and operational efficiency. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma/ GED with at least 2+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience Demonstrated leadership and working in a highly collaborative environment Success in driving results through process and teamwork Proven success in reducing losses and improving performance in a manufacturing setting Demonstrated technical capability and knowledge of unit operations and machinery (at least one production platform).
Skilled at communicating between work groups and with cross-functional resources Has experience pulling and analyzing data and leveraging data systems to interpret information (e.g., Maximo) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Associate's Degree 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience
