Senior Financial Analyst, Cedar Rapids Plant

Overview The Cedar Rapids Senior Financial Analyst position is a cross functional role that will allow you to collaborate with peers to achieve plant goals, partner with plant operations to support business results and the plant mission, support a strong fiduciary environment, analyze metrics and reporting, and provide business insights. You will have financial responsibility for one of our two operating departments, Cereal and RTS Frosting or Fruit Snacks. Key Accountabilities Responsible for development, execution and monitoring of the annual operating plan, periodic financial forecasts, and monthly financial close. Monitoring financial performance and develop plans to close any gaps to plant targets, including communication with applicable Business Units. Supporting site delivery of annual HMM targets. Participate on Operating Department Leadership Team Support development and execution large capital project execution Engage in plant Zero Loss Culture programs to drive financial and safety performance improvements Ensure Effective Financial Controls Maintaining audit ready status of internal controls through periodic review and self-audit. Provide support and leadership on cross functional plant and corporate initiatives Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field 4+ years of related experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment Ability to work well on team and build effective relationships across all levels of the organization (Partnership for Impact) Willingness to get outside of traditional financial roles to support plant operations Preferred Qualifications 7+ years of related experience Willingness to commit to 18-24 months in role Experience working in a finance/accounting role within manufacturing Experience with SAP in a manufacturing environment Experience in food manufacturing Proven analytical and strategic skills (Analytic Proficiency) Highly motivated self-starter with strong organization and prioritization skills Assertive, self-confident, and willing to offer opinions and insights Initiative and ability to work independently and to effectively work with a team (Situational Agility) Ability to influence, develop, and motivate peers (Matrix Relationship Management) Desire to work cross functionally with all plant functions (Cross-Functional Leadership) Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities COMPANY OVERVIEW We exist to make food the world loves.
