Manager, Global Security

At present, it has major brands including Häagen-Dazs and Wanchai Ferry which are internationally renowned. General Mills has built in China 4 modern production bases, which are located in Sanhe of Hebei Province, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Nanjing respectively. In addition, it has 3 central kitchens in Shanghai, Tianjin and Guangzhou, a R&D Center in Shanghai, and more than 400 Häagen-Dazs stores. This role reports directly to Global Security’s Head of Business Security, China and serves as Global Security’s primary interface at the working-level across General Mills’ China business. The role aims to enable the business by proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating evolving security risks as well as assisting in the response to active threats. It also partners with the broader Global Security team and other key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to provide guidance and support. Security Awareness, Mitigation, and Response Lead security training with relevant stakeholders and employees to enhance awareness of evolving threats and associated risk to ensure appropriate security and resilience preparedness. Conduct proactive security risk assessments of General Mills sites across China (office, manufacturing, R&D, retail, etc.) to include recommendations for remedial measures and follow-up action plans. Provide guidance to site security coordinators on security policies, procedures, and other requirements related to physical security design, guarding services, security incident reporting, crisis preparation and response. Implement balanced security mitigation and response protocols aligned to business goals, evolving security risks, and industry best practices. Promote revenue opportunities that prevent loss, automate processes, and drive efficiencies through technology. Partner across Global Security and cross-functionally, to include external resources and government authorities, to respond most effectively to security incidents and support potential crisis events. Support travel security, executive protection, special events, and other Global Security programs as required. Sensitive investigations Partner with Global Security’s Investigations platform, Law, HR, and/or Finance as appropriate to support investigations covering a range of sensitive, complex matters regarding potential violations of company policies, crimes directed against the company, and other allegations of misconduct. External Influence Maintain professional network of corporate security peers, leading security consultants/vendors, and officials within law enforcement and other government agencies Continuously develop knowledge of evolving best practices through peer benchmarking, industry events/associations, and educational opportunities Qualifications 5+ years of experience in the field of security and/or risk management in China. Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following: corporate/commercial security; risk and crisis management; security consulting; physical security systems; loss prevention; investigations; audit and compliance. Effective verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English. Flexibility to respond 24/7 to urgent matters with a bias for decisive action. Physical Security Professional (PSP), Certified Protection Professional (CPP), or equivalent public sector experience. Experience leveraging data analytics. Comfortable shifting priorities and simultaneously engaging in multiple projects. A desire for continuous learning and broadening skillset. 公司概述 We exist to make food the world loves.
