Position Overview As the leader for Yoplait UK&I HR and a member of the Yoplait UK Leadership Team, you will focus on the development and implementation of the end to end HR strategy, fully aligned with the business strategy for the UK and Ireland business units. This includes developing a culture of engagement, performance, learning, inclusion and belonging within a ‘start-up like’ environment. This role calls for a seasoned individual with a high degree of business partnership at leadership level, breadth of knowledge and experience across various disciplines of HR and a proven track record of successfully leading change and delivering results. An entrepreneurial spirit and learning mindset will be critical to succeed in a ‘start-up like’ and highly autonomous environment. Key Responsibilities Full accountability for UK&I generalist and specialist HR activities: Partner with the Country Managers to translate business strategy into HR strategies. Develop and implement HR initiatives in line with organisational strategy and country objectives to support a culture of engagement, performance, learning, inclusion and belonging. Support and drive strategies and functional projects across the UK&I. Partner with the HR team in France to contribute to the broader HR and COE strategy, based on UK&I context. Champion a culture of performance, learning, inclusion and belonging. Devise recruitment strategies and oversee their implementation to support immediate and longer term resourcing needs, accounting for succession planning and CPD. Partner with external agencies as needed and interview senior hires where necessary. Update and review HR policies, procedures and guidelines aligned with organisation values and local legislation. Ensure consistent application across the organisation. Design and facilitate development solutions to assist individual, team and organisational development through internal and external resources. Facilitate HR initiatives including talent development, performance and reward processes with the UK&I leadership team. Lead HR data and analytics to drive insights and decisions across end-to-end HR activities. Consult and coach line managers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to effectively lead their teams. Consult and oversee complex employee relations issues with professionalism and aligned to legislation. Offer pragmatic solutions to support employee relations and engagement. Champion a performance culture and continuously review performance and employee development making recommendations for improvements. Accountable for payroll processes. Accountable for the HR budget and to report on current and future staffing costs and initiatives. Ensure legal compliance is met in all HR activities. Champion change initiatives, getting buy-in from stakeholders as required. Lead on special projects and communicate on strategy and implementation. Build/ lead a high performing HR team (1 FTE in total). Position Criteria Graduate degree in Business, HR, Law, Psychology or fully certified (FCIPD or MCIPD) Experienced HR professional operating at leadership level on a consultative and partnering basis Demonstrates integrity, sensitivity, and discretion at all times Experience facilitating, leading and coaching at different levels within the organisation Ability to partner and influence cross-functionally at a senior management level and across a matrix organisation to challenge the status quo, problem solve and deliver results Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Self-starter who is proactive, has a learning mindset and is results orientated Strong business acumen and commercially focussed Sound knowledge of employment law COMPANY OVERVIEW
