Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for building & owning the standard work/playbook for any M&A activity within T&O
  • Responsible for executing vertical integration strategies including partnering on key acquisition, JV, partnership efforts for the supply base, working across the cross functional team (BD, legal, finance, operations, procurement, etc.) to ensure project success
  • Create a robust process to monitor external intelligence within the market, allowing T&O to be proactive on market M&A activity and potential opportunities
  • Be an active and influential voice in translating the Supply Chain strategy and behaviors to all audiences, including customers and suppliers. Translate and adopt strategy, goals, and operational rhythms across levels ensuring alignment, communication, and integration of approach.
  • Analyze potential deals on gap to GE standard then plan to bring to GE standard, while having flexibility to understand the art of the possible

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Technology/Engineering, Strategy, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Project Management
  • May require travel up to 50% of the time

Desired Characteristics and Experience:

  • Strong operational experience in shop environments, dealing with suppliers, etc.
  • Exposure to M&A activities or strategic negotiations (ie. procurement, customer facing, etc.)
  • Previous experience in strategic consulting at established firm
