Job Description Summary

This role requires to support implementation and sustenance of GE Aerospace EHS Program,EHS Management systems, EHS compliances, ETP, STP Operations for the site.

Our Multi-modal Manufacturing Facility (MMF) in Pune plays a crucial role in manufacturing key aerospace components, supporting not only India’s defense and commercial sectors but also global aviation supply chains. Our relationships with Indian suppliers, combined with our world-class local facilities and global reach, continue to shape India’s aerospace ecosystem

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Individuals located at Pune MMF manufacturing site , that provide day-to-day EHS support for that facility.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, audits and risk assessments
  • Execute the plan for EHS strategy on the site considering the global and site-specific requirements
  • Awareness of implementation requirements of Fire Safety, Factories Act, MPCB , PESO, sustainability requirements for the site
  • Help in implementing the EHSMS- ISO 45001, 14001 for the site and ensuring it sustenance
  • Support in the EHS Framework implementation for the site in line with GE Aerospace EHS strategy.
  • Work with HPT members/EHS Star Caps and Line Managers to promote their engagement in driving EHS culture for the
  • Conduct EHS trainings for new employees and contractors
  • Use of Gensuite tool for driving the continual improvement by supporting and ensuing  EHS concerns, STOP Cards, ATS, compliance calendars are completed on time
  • Incident Reporting and Investigation- Ensure all the incidents are reported as per guidelines and investigated to avoid recurrence.
  • Contractor Safety Management- Ensure risk are controlled through effective implementation of trainings, permit to work system and engagement of the contractor employees
  • Machine Safety- Ensuring the implementation of machine safety program in line with GE Aerospace and factory act requirement.
  • EHSRA- Prepare the EHSRA for site along with shop floor teams and implement the SOD projects for controlling the risks.
  • PPE Management- Ensure appropriate PPEs are identified for each operation and are available for use on the shop floor.
  • EHS Documentation- Complete and maintain all the documentation required as per the site requirement

 

 

Ideal Candidate

Passionate EHS Professional with experience 6-9 years of EHS Management systems and statutory compliance in Engineering Industry

 

 

Required Qualifications

  • BE/BTech Mechanical
  • Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with ISO45001,14001,50001 standards
  • Strong knowledge of EHS management systems
  • ETP/STP Operations
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Problem solving skill
