Job Description Summary
As a technician, you will support the GE Aerospace test engineering team within the GE Aerospace pneumatics lab. Within this role you will be given diverse and complex assignments in support of GE Aerospace Systems product development and production. Assignments may include but are not limited to creating custom engineering test setups, set up and running data acquisition equipment, performing tests on various pneumatic test articles, and reporting/documenting results of tests and measurements.
Job Description
Responsibilities include:

Test assemblies and sub-assemblies for correct operation and compliance to performance specifications.
-
Set up test equipment and test pneumatic products using established test procedures and schematics.
-
Cross - train, mentor and provide technical assistance to other technicians.
-
Perform basic trouble shooting encompassing multiple variables and unknowns to achieve root cause analysis and problem resolution.
-
Conduct experiments and diagnostic tests, as required to draw conclusions.
-
Provide recommended process improvements.
-
Keep workstation, tools and equipment in a neat and orderly manner.
-
Understand and comply with all company, safety rules, and regulations.
-
Willing to work non-standard hours when needed to meet stakeholder commitments.
Required Qualifications:
-
Associates degree, or a High School diploma and 2+ years of technical experience.
-
Proficiency to logically troubleshoot at subsystem and system level, using identifiable problem-solving techniques.
-
Ability to draw accurate conclusions from test data, malfunctions, or deviations, and assist with corrections to the existing design or process.
-
Proficiency to understand and interpret basic written technical information.
-
This position requires U.S. citizenship status.
Desired Characteristics:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology related fields.

Strong oral and written communication skills.
-
Demonstrate the ability to analyze and resolve problems.

Experience working with Lab View.

Experience in aviation.
The base pay range for this position is $62,370 - $83,466. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This posting is expected to close on March 20, 2026.
