Job Description Summary
The capture leader will be responsible for expanding Colibrium Additive’s key account portfolio and driving business growth through strategic planning, business development, sales enablement, and relationship management. The Capture Leader will partner internationally with regional sales leaders and key account managers to expand Colibrium Additive’s market penetration
This role will selectively identify, shape, and pursue high-growth opportunities aligned with the business strategy, to spearhead and secure new key-account acquisitions and foster scale. You will lead a team of experienced professionals across technical sales, market intelligence, and our partner network, and will be ultimately responsible for their professional development, ongoing coaching and success. You will partner closely with Key Account Managers to establish and facilitate access to growth segments – championing and enabling value-selling strategies, implementing regular pipeline reviews, and providing meaningful strategic guidance as well as tactical support on prioritized initiatives.
This role partners closely with product line leaders to grow competitiveness, ensure high quality customer engagement and expanded intimacy, as well as to shape future product line strategies by representing the voice of the customer and providing insights into a constantly evolving competitive landscape. This role will also be responsible for implementing a capture process, and coaching the staff as they implement the process
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Channel Partner Management: Oversee the channel partner network and territory design, building strong relationships, setting clear objectives, ensuring effective collaboration, and enabling growth.
- Market Intelligence: Lead the gathering, analysis, and dissemination of market intelligence to identify risk and opportunities and inform business & commercial strategies. Establish standard work.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute business development strategies to identify and capitalize on high-growth opportunities aligned with Colibrium Additive’s commercial key-account objectives.
- Sales Enablement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create tools, processes, and resources that enable effective sales execution and account management.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to the technical sales team, and partner network, ensuring alignment with business goals and fostering a culture of collaboration and techno-commercial excellence.
- Customer Intimacy: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing key accounts while identifying strategic collaboration opportunities to accelerate growth & penetration.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success, identify areas for improvement, and ensure accountability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in business development, strategic planning, sales, product management or account management, preferably in the aerospace or additive manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of driving business growth, scaling key accounts, and managing teams.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging lean tools and mindset to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in SFDC
