For more than 40 years, our advanced facilities in Singapore have led aerospace innovation across Asia Pacific. From automating processes to leveraging smart factory technologies, robotics, and additive manufacturing, GE Aerospace is shaping the future of aviation at GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore (GEAESS).

GEAESS is our largest site for engine component Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.

Role Overview:

  • Manufacturing engineering tasks that do not require 4 year degree. Primarily tactical responsibilities. This does not include general administrative work.

  • Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.

  • Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.

  • Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.

  • Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should combine strong technical knowledge with hands-on experience and has a deep understanding of maintenance processes, lean manufacturing, and regulatory compliance. He possesses strong communication skills, the ability to document and plan programs effectively, and a collaborative mindset to integrate their work with broader team efforts while fostering strong customer relationships when required.

Required Qualifications

  • For roles outside of the USA- This role requires basic experience in the Manufacturing & Manufacturing Engineering Specialist. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).

  • For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
