• Variable Cost Productivity intern will work in continues improvement projects. Under supervision, this person will be in charge of performing data mining, cost analysis and supplier evaluations, also, perform exploration analysis to look for potential opportunities of components industrialization and cost out projects, putting together a Business Case for the future development of the Regional Supply Chain for the Aviation Business. He/She will support the review and development of design, manufacturing, and quality processes.We are looking for motivated, self-driving student that is interested in developing critical thinking and continues improvement skills.

• Execute with guidance the data analysis required to identify Cost Out opportunities

• Perform Supplier Scouting in Mexico & LATAM for desired Hardware Commodities

• Create - improve tools and processes to analyze technical and commercial data

• Present results for the upper management

• Support the Strategic Supply Chain and Cost Out strategies on items of limited scope and complexity

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• University student of 6th semester (Mechanical engineering, Industrial engineering, or Desing related field)
• Effective written and oral communication in both English and Spanish
• Awareness of industrial standards and quality tools
• Awareness of Project management
• CAD 3D, Technical drawing bases
• Self-learning abilities
