Within the Military Product Management & Customer Support Organization, the On Site Services Representative will be located at Customer’s premises at Flight Test Center Caselle (TO). You will be the primary interface with the customer on technical and logistic engine issues. You will also manage and facilitate liaison and prompt support from the Customer requests and Shop Activities.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
-
Lead maintenance activities related to engine repair
-
Liaise with the customer’s operations department to ensure timely and effective responses to technical issues
-
Determine the root cause of symptom-based engine rejections using maintenance records (including borescope inspection results, engine debris, non-destructive test results, etc.)
-
Apply appropriate troubleshooting, engineering, and quality decisions to resolve engine issues
-
Analyze Engine Health Monitoring System data to assess engine condition
-
Manage the resolution of maintenance problems through liaison with the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)
-
Manage shop-floor operating instructions and work scopes for engine repair
-
Prepare and issue Query & Answer (Q&A) and Re-use Deviation Reports (RDRs) to support maintenance activities
-
Perform in-service data collection and analysis to support troubleshooting, monitoring/trending, and technical publications
-
Support customer fulfillment and the movement/transportation of assets
-
Perform configuration management and ensure timely updating of the Engine Logbook
-
Maintain an up-to-date and complete technical publications library and tooling/calibration database
-
Ensure compliance with relevant airworthiness regulations and Technical Airworthiness Authority requirements
-
Independently perform maintenance tasks and assess results in accordance with applicable technical manuals
Qualifications/Requirements
-
Degree in engineering (aerospace or mechanical preferred) or Technical high school diploma with previous solid experience on engine maintenance
-
Good knowledge of propulsion systems and aerospace services (understanding of customer operational needs is a plus)
-
Good knowledge of engine and aircraft (A/C) maintenance
-
Knowledge of Engine Logbooks for consultation and analysis of engine and engine parts data
-
Ability to prepare technical reports and clearly communicate technical issues
-
Strong ability to influence others
-
Availability to work occasional overtime and occasional Saturday shifts
-
Fluent written and spoken Italian and English
-
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
-
Eligible to be security-cleared under Italian National Security Framework – NOS (art. 9, comma 4 Legge 3 Agosto 2007, n. 124; art 37 DPCM 6 Novembre 2015 n.5)

Willingness to business travel
Desired Characteristics
-
Experience with EJ200 and RB199 engines and associated Aircraft Ground Equipment (AGE)
-
Knowledge of engine systems, airworthiness and flight safety regulations, and fleet management
-
Practical experience in engine maintenance tasks
-
EMAR 145 MAML-B1/C (or equivalent) is a strong plus
-
Understanding of Fleet Management
-
Experience leading initiatives of moderate scope and impact
-
Proven ability to coordinate multiple activities and deliver high-quality results
