Job Description Summary

At Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace Business, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.
Within the Military Customer Support Organization, as Contracting and Technical Representative (COTR) you will be located at the Italian Navy General Staff in Rome. You will support the Customer in technical and contractual activities during the execution of the T700/T6E1 engine MR&O contract.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Manage contractual requirements, prepare required documentation for engines and components delivery to Avio Aero for the relevant repair activities

  • Deal with the Helicopter Squadron (Gruppi Elicotteri) / Naval Air Station (Stazione Elicotteri) for logistic aspects, arranging shipment and receipt of engines, LRUs and other components to/from Avio Aero, including new supply materials

  • Support the Customer in the preparation of work order requests for technical interventions and subsequent assessment of the technical and administrative documentation issued at activity completion

  • Arrange program meetings between Customer stakeholders and Avio Aero

  • Assess the Investigation Request proposals issued by the Operators Helicopter Groups prior their formal issue. Assess Service Bulletin and Investigation Technical Report

  • Analyze material supply lists and Helicopter Squadron needs for their scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities

  • Provide technical and logistic support for engines to be allocated to helicopters under retrofit activities

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar field or Technical High School Diploma with previous solid experience in similar role

  • Good knowledge of T700 engine, accessories, installations, control and monitoring systems as well as interfaces with airframe

  • Good knowledge of Airworthiness Regulation issue by Italian NMAA (Direzione degli Armamenti Aeronautici e per l’Aeronavigabilità)

  • Good knowledge of MR&O contracts and relevant management

  • Good knowledge of engine Technical Publications, regulations and applicable procedures (maintenance manuals, parts catalog)

  • Fluent Italian and English

  • SAP and MS Office knowledge

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, customer-oriented mindset

  • Eligible for NATO Security Clearance

  • Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required

  • Knowledge of Tracking Revisioni Motori (BPM) system

  • Leadership and interpersonal skills
