We are seeking a skilled CMM and Robot programmer to join our CRO Manufacturing Engineering team in Brindisi. In this role, you will be responsible for programming and testing Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and Robots. This role requires expertise in interpreting engineering technical drawings, developing inspection programs/ robot programs, and collaborating with engineering and production teams to meet quality standards.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities

Develop and validate CMM programs (Zeiss, Hexagon), both off-line and directly on the machine
-
Develop and validate Robot Part Program (ABB, Kuka, Fanuc)
-
Read and interpret drawings and other quality control requirements using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
-
Ensure programs are optimized for efficiency and accuracy
-
Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve technical issues
-
Provide feedback on design and manufacturing processes to improve quality and reduce defects
-
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conforming parts
-
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues as needed.

Support shop operations to guarantee Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost
Qualifications/Requirements
-
High School Diploma
-
Robust experience on Calypso programming for aerospace parts and assemblies (or equivalent Software)
-
Strong ability to read mechanical drawings, understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and technical specifications
-
Previous experience with Robot programming (ABB, Kuka, Fanuc)
-
Fluent in Italian and English
-
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
Desired Characteristics

Knowledge of CNC programming for machining (turning, milling)

Knowledge of CAM and CAD system
-
Familiarity with aerospace or automotive industry standards.

Knowledge of military and commercial main component repair processes

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

CMM programming certifications are a plus
-
Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn
