Job Description:

As a Zero Trust Program Manager, you will lead and work with a team of Zero Trust professionals and play a critical role in driving the implementation of Zero Trust principles and frameworks across USCENTCOM’s enterprise networks. This position requires deep technical expertise, strategic vision, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with DoD Zero Trust standards and Data Centric Security principles. Your role as a Zero Trust Program Manager is critical in ensuring the customer’s foundational cybersecurity framework that has become increasingly critical in today’s threat landscape.

Zero Trust is not just a cybersecurity framework—it is a strategic imperative for organizations seeking to protect their assets, data, and operations in an increasingly complex and hostile digital environment. By levering your skillsets, you will enable the customer to adopt Zero Trust principles, reduce risk, enhance resilience, and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory and operational requirements. Additionally, the Zero Trust Program Manager will empower breakthrough innovations, take on challenging assignments, lead initiatives, and be responsible for results. The Zero Trust Program Manager will also work closely with other IT professionals to meet the changing needs of the customer.

Zero Trust Program Manager Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement Zero Trust frameworks aligned with DoD standards (e.g., NIST 800-207, DoD Zero Trust Strategy)
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, FISMA, and CMMC
  • Prepare documentation and artifacts for accreditation boards, including DISA STIGs, RMF, and IDAF requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, cybersecurity, operations, and business units, to align Zero Trust initiatives with organizational goals
  • Engage with government stakeholders to ensure solutions meet mission-critical requirements
  • Lead technical teams in the implementation of Zero Trust solutions
  • Lead incident response efforts in the event of a security breach, ensuring rapid containment and remediation
  • Develop and maintain risk management strategies to proactively address vulnerabilities and threats
  • Introduce innovative technologies and methodologies to enhance the organization’s cybersecurity posture
  • Develop long-term roadmaps for Zero Trust adoption and integration across the enterprise
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, policies, and procedures
  • Provide detailed reports on Zero Trust implementation progress, metrics, and outcomes
  • Ensure all Zero Trust solutions adhere to ethical guidelines and regulatory standards
  • Promote data privacy and protection across all systems and processes

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor’s degree with a focus in business administration or a related field of study; or a bachelor’s degree with a focus in computer science, engineering, or a related field of study.

Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience

Required Technical Skills:

  • Proven success in an IT role
  • Experience leading technical teams and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and frameworks, including their application in an enterprise environment
  • Ability to analyze complex cybersecurity challenges and develop innovative solutions
  • Experience in project management, application design and integration, and cloud computing
  • Ability to lift 50 or more pounds

Certifications: The following certifications are not required; however they are important professional credentials that may prove beneficial for a Zero Trust Program Manager to possess:

  • CISSP
  • CEH
  • CASP+

The likely salary range for this position is $147,050 - $198,950. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
