We have responsibility to ensure operational IT capabilities provide the client with necessary timeliness, accuracy and security of information demanded from all our highly professional roles. HOW A GEOSPATIAL SYSEM ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Development
• Experience with geospatial software API's for data transformation and analysis:
• Esri Arc Poly
• GDAL
• Geo Pandas (optionally, PySAL or Moving Pandas)
• Data Automation
• Experience with automating geospatial data workflows through tools like:
• Arc

GIS Geo Event Server:

• Arc

GIS Workflow Manager:

• Apache Nifi
• Geospatial Databases/Datastores:
• Arc

GIS Enterprise Database:

• Postgres
• Geo Mesa
• Experience with ETL tools such as SAFE FME

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: Bachelors Degree (Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a closely related discipline)
• Required Experience: 5-10+ years' experience working with proprietary and open-source geospatial data formats.
• Required Technical Skill:
• Python
• Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with active Polygraph
• Location: Bethesda, MD - On Customer Site

The likely salary range for this position is $170,000 - $230,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
