• As a Systems Engineer Senior, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of our customer.
• Designs server and application architectures; performs administrative operation and maintenance functions of server hardware and software
• Maintains system security and executes common practices and procedures; monitors usage statistics and logs
• Institutes troubleshooting and incident response procedures. Troubleshoots system related problems.
• Recommends future direction or projects to management. Provides expertise and direction in the development or modification of software programs and applications to enhance an operating system

The Systems Engineer Senior must have:

• Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
• Experience: 5+ years of Systems Engineering functions/roles
• Security clearance level: TS/SCI security clearance
• US citizenship required
• Role requirements:
• Has experience with Virtualization, Windows, Storage, Linux, and Mc Afee
• Experience with ICAM, PAM, Zero-trust solutions is a plus
• Exchange, Share Point, SQL expertise a plus
• Specific knowledge of RHEL, Splunk, Open Shift is a plus

The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
