Job Description:

GENERAL MAINTENANCE WORKER:

Daily tasks will include, but may not be limited to:

• Routine maintenance checks, and use of powered equipment (Forklift. Flatbed Truck, Van and indoor Bridge Cranes
• Local pickup and delivery of materials using company vehicles
• Material Handling (Manual Lifting and Powered Equipment).
• Use of powered and manual hand tools to construct shipping crates, pallets, dunnage, and complete other miscellaneous tasks as needed.
• Support other work areas in the building when needed.
• Cleaning of work areas by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and washing.
• Past experience in a mechanical or carpentry type environment is preferred.
• Must possess drivers license, and be able to pass drug screen and driver's physical.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools, including drills, drivers and measuring tape.

The General Maintenance Worker must have:

• Education: High School Diploma/GED
• Experience: 1+ years of related experience
• Security clearance level: Ability to acquire Secret Clearance
• US citizenship required

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $20.24 - $25.30. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
