Job Description Summary

Responsible for day-to-day operations of Incoming Inspection and Chemical Removal processes for industrial gas turbine component repairs. Accountable for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people (SQDCP) performance, driving compliance, productivity, and team development.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of technicians to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost targets.
  • Ensure full compliance with EHS and quality requirements, especially for chemical handling, storage, PPE use, waste disposal, and incident reporting.
  • Oversee operations and ensure adherence to standard work, work instructions and engineering spec.
  • Troubleshoot equipment/process issues; coordinate with Maintenance and Engineering to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain and periodically review risk assessments; conduct layered process review and Gemba walks.
  • Support training of technicians; maintain and review the skill matrix.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.
  • Support Lean and continuous improvement.
  • Manage consumables and chemicals inventory; ensure proper documentation and environmental compliance.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a production/operations environment with team lead or supervisory responsibilities.
  • Good interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills.
  • Experience in Lean would be advantageous
  • Able to work rotating shifts
