At GE Vernova**, we are looking for a** Manufacturing / Industrial Engineer to join our Lean and Manufacturing Engineering team at the Sesto San Giovanni Bushing Factory**.**
This role plays a key part in the daily management and optimization of production cycle times for customized BOMs, ensuring accurate monitoring of manufacturing performance through MES and labor hour analysis. You will work closely with production operators and manufacturing stakeholders to improve efficiency, standardize processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the factory.

Job Description:

The role is primarily focused on the daily governance and analysis of production cycle times for customized bushing configurations.
Key activities include monitoring MES data, analyzing labor hours and production performance, and driving cycle time reduction initiatives with a strong focus on production efficiency, data accuracy, and operational effectiveness.

• Roles and Responsibilities
• Manage and monitor daily cycle times for customized Bills of Materials (BOMs) related to bushing production.
• Ensure accurate tracking of production data through the MES system, identifying deviations and inefficiencies.
• Analyze labor hours, productivity, and manufacturing performance, providing structured data analysis and reporting.
• Identify opportunities for cycle time improvement and support implementation of efficiency actions on the shop floor.
• Apply basic time and methods techniques to analyze work content and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Work closely with production operators and supervisors to develop practical and sustainable improvements.
• Support standardization of processes and best practices across manufacturing operations.
• Work with Supply Chain and production team to analyze material alignment with ERP values and identify main RC with a continuous improvement approach
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Planning, and Industrial Engineering teams to ensure alignment between production data and operational needs.
• Provide ongoing support to production in resolving daily operational issues related to cycle times and workload balance.
• Required Qualifications
• Education / Experience**: Degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, or similar technical background, with** proven experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in shop-floor operations and production performance management.
• Solid knowledge and practical use of SAP (production, logistics, or manufacturing modules).
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, formulas).
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Preferred Skills
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Experience with cycle time analysis, workload balancing, and productivity improvement.
• Strong data analysis mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach with production operators.
