You will be responsible to set up and operate all types of machines, eg CNC (milling, grinding, lathe); Electrical discharge machine (EDM); surface grinding; VT Lathe and various conventional machines and specialised equipment to perform machining operations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate all types of machine tools, that is, electrical discharge machine, lathe, radial grinder, reciprocal grinder, milling machine, drilling machine and specialised equipment to perform machining operation of the most complicated nature in the making of jigs, fixtures, tools, dies, gauges, test equipment and product parts, and their rework or modifications.

• Follow a particular product through the machine shop using a variety of machine tools to complete the finished product.

• Use all types of standard and special gauges, various hand tools.

• Maintain pertinent records; work from blue print, sketches, written or verbal instructions, will assist lower rated machine operator in the set up and operation of variety of machine tools and specialised equipment.

• Adhere to all applicable EHS rules and regulations and employee’s EHS responsibilities.

• Ensure product quality, equipment care, meet production output/pace, housekeeping and schedules.

• Carries out other duties as assigned.

• Carries out basic machine preventive maintenance.

• Good understanding of machines and attachments to troubleshoot parts defects.

Qualifications Required:

• Minimum secondary level education, NTC or equivalent preferred

• Good mechanical aptitude.

• Good command of written and spoken English.

• Knowledge in operating of machines.

• Able to perform rotating shift
