Job Description Summary
The Oil & Gas and Industry Growth Leader will work collaboratively across regional sales teams, growth leaders, and Key Account Managers to drive strategic account development, expand the customer base, and maximize growth potential across the Oil & Gas and Industrial sectors within the MENAT region.The role is accountable for defining growth strategies, driving market penetration, and ensuring flawless execution of orders to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Job Description
What you will do:
- Own and drive Industry business performance in the region in line with annual operating plans and growth objectives
- Expand the overall customer base by building and sustaining strong relationships with key Oil & Gas and Industrial customers
- Develop and execute the Grid Automation MENAT Industrial growth strategy with focus on software define solution, Installed Base upgrades, Grid Modernization, Industrial solutions, and Value-Added Services, in close collaboration with Growth Leaders and the regional Sales team.
- Act as the regional representative for Oil & Gas and Industrial sectors, enabling regional sales teams on portfolio differentiation and customer value propositions
- Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer needs, serving as the primary regional interface with the Commercial pillar
- Define segment go-to-market strategies and targets in collaboration with GA and broader electrification teams.
- Partner closely with Key Account Managers, Growth, Sales, Techno-commercial team to drive penetration and expansion within Oil & Gas and Industrial accounts
- Identify untapped large investment opportunities across MENAT and take accountability for complex, intra-regional projects by actively driving opportunity conversion and execution
- Foster a strong culture of ownership, accountability, passion for growth, and differentiation
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial and/or operations roles or relevant experience within Oil & Gas and/or Industrial segments and power grid
- Proven experience in commercial across Middle East and Africa geography
- Strong business acumen and commercial mindset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- This role requires 50% travel within UAE and across the region
What will make you stand out:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Master’s degree is an advantage
- Demonstrated experience working across multiple functions (sales, engineering, operations, product) within a matrixed organization
- Proven ability to translate strategic vision into execution through structured planning, clear direction, and team empowerment
- Fluency in Arabic is an advantage
- Passionate with strategic mindset
