GE Vernova is looking for highly motivated individuals to join the Aero Equipment ITR engineering team. GE Vernova Gas Power is a growing and exciting business encompassing all Aero Derivatives Gas Turbines and Power Plants enabling renewable penetration through grid firming, decarbonizing and electrifying the world.
The Aero Equipment ITR Electrical Engineer will be part of a team tasked to deliver wing-to-wing customer solutions for Aeroderivative Gas Turbine Generator Equipment projects, from competitive proposal to execution of solutions. The engineer will be part of a team that will execute with safety, quality, speed, on-time delivery, and at cost.

Job Description:

• Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Engineers to develop and implement project specific designs.

• Serve as a key contributor to develop a scope of work and plan schedule and monitor engineering activities for customer projects.

• Provide technical leadership and interface with Proposal Management, Cost Estimating, Partners, Customers, GE Product Engineering, Sourcing, Engineering sub-contractors.

• Provide technical clarification of designs with suppliers, manufacturing, and services teams.

• Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.

• Collaborates with others to solve issues, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.

• Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college of Science in Electrical Engineering degree or related technical field.

• Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience related to bills of materials, manufacturing, electrical engineering, and product design

The salary range for this position is 71,600.00 - 89,500.00 USD Annual The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive performance bonus of 5%. For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $71,600.00 and $107,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
