The Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP) has the mission to deliver the world’s most capable Engineers who are adept at solving problems and creating innovative technology for the power industry. We work to solve one of the biggest climate crisis problems, to provide electricity while at the same time, reducing greenhouse gasses. The Edison program provides accelerated learning and career development by exposing the program members to industry-leading innovators in the power sector.
As a member of the Gas Power Edison Engineering Development Program, you will be an active contributor in achieving these goals by designing, developing, analyzing, and testing our products. As part of our Leadership Programs, your two years on program will allow you opportunities to network with Executive Leaders and other members of other Leadership Programs that support functions outside of Engineering. Your experience as a Gas Power Edison will prepare you for an exciting career in the Gas Power industry and allow you to have real impact on the GE Vernova business and customers around the world.
Job Description
What you’ll do
As a GE Vernova Gas Power EEDP, you will:
- Work on impactful, technically-challenging projects in the power generation industry during four rotations over 2 years in a variety of disciplines, including Design, Analysis, Manufacturing and product support, Repair development, Reliability, and more
- Enhance core engineering skills through Advanced Courses in Engineering and Business leadership training attended alongside other GE Vernova program members
- Receive technical training, mentorship, and coaching from world-class technologists and experienced technical managers
- Participate in development training with other GE Vernova Leadership and Development program members
- Grow technical expertise in your chosen field and expand skills in new areas
What you’ll bring
- Recent or soon-to-be graduate (July 2026 the latest) with an MSc or BSc degree in mechanical, aeronautical/aerospace, manufacturing, electrical, controls, mechatronics, or materials with academic excellence. Other energy engineering related majors will be considered.
- Unrestricted work authorization to work in Poland
- Willingness to work onsite in our office in Warsaw the majority of the time
- Desire to stay in Poland post completion of the EEDP program
- No more than 2 years of industry experience, including internships
- Open to relocation (within home country)
- Fluent in English
- Availability to start the program full time by mid-June or, at the latest, by the beginning of July 2026
- Passion/desire to work in the energy industry
- Strong dedication to a career in technology and a real passion for engineering
