The Power Transmission business line in Oberentfelden focuses on delivering innovative products and solutions aimed at efficiently transferring electrical energy across various distances and applications. This business line typically offers a range of products, such as transformers, switchgear, power cables, and related technologies that are essential for maintaining the integrity and reliability of electrical grids.

Our site in Oberentfelden is a center of excellence for the development, production, and service of metal-encapsulated, gas-insulated high-voltage switchgear, their components & drives.

Your Mission: You will prepare the tools for the customer site works; maintenance, inspections, calibration, repairs, etc. Your main stakeholder and customer will be our GE team supervisors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing tools, testing equipment, and storage materials for assembly or customer orders.
  • Planning and tracking tool requirements using PC and Office applications. Timely tracking and documentation of tool locations at customer construction sites worldwide.Inventorying and inspecting tool equipment.
  • Maintenance of gas service equipment, machinery, testing equipment, and facilities.
  • Testing instruments and equipment according to regulations.
  • Designing assembly setups as needed, assembling small orders.
  • Returning Sf6 gas cylinders from construction sites: quality control, weighing, and recovery of Sf6.

Key Requirements:

  • Electrician or electromechanical background
  • A minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on relevant experience within Erection & Commissioning
  • Previous experience managing electrical tooling equipment
  • Fluent in German & English is good to have
  • MS Office knowledge, basic standard user
