What impact you’ll make:

The Enterprise Solutions team deploys, enhances and manages all ERP platforms in the GE Vernova Power segment. Our versatile team boasts unique expertise across enterprise technology platforms and business processes. As a key member of the Enterprise Solutions Fulfillment Initiatives team, you will help lead the charge in simplifying the ERP landscape, transforming with Cloud-native technology and operationalizing AI within our systems. In this role you will lead projects related to digital transformation of the Heavy Duty New Units (HDNU) processes/applications across ERP platforms including but not limited to SAP Power Max.

Job Description

What you’ll do

• Build strong partnership with Heavy Duty New Units (HDGT) functional stakeholders; Collaborate with business, functional partners and technology leadership to define strategic and tactical roadmap of ERP Digital Capabilities today in SAP Power Max and longer-term in Cloud-native ERP.

• Responsible for driving scope, practices, and overall IT strategy for the central Finance processes including but not limited to SAP Power Max. Develop Target process model & solution design for business functions to provide productivity and drive alignment across all affected functional stakeholders applying lean methodology and emerging technologies (AI).

• Proactively and holistically lead, consult and/or oversee multiple engagements across the Power Enterprise Solutions IT organization in response to disruptive trends and execution of change toward the desired business vision and outcomes

• Lead research and evaluation of emerging technology, including Agentic and Generative AI, industry and market trends to assist in project development for the Enterprise Solutions team.

• Interface with business process owners and functional leaders to map out existing and future processes/sub-processes, data sources, data models, systems, and workflows into a common enterprise-wide data model within application framework.

• Act as the subject matter expert for Heavy Duty New Units ERP processes and supporting applications functionality. Gather requirements and collaborate with functional partners for prioritizations to drive the business outcome.

• Drive ERP landscape simplification by collaborating with other value stream leaders as well as Data Lake reporting and Finance ecosystems.  Interface with business process owners and functional leaders to map out existing and future processes/sub-processes, data sources, data models, systems, and workflows into a common enterprise-wide data model within application framework.

• Collaborate cross-functionally, working with a variety of teams to identify and prioritize ways in which the product can support our internal processes, and our business users in more efficient and effective ways. Demonstrate ability to influence functional and development partners through credible knowledge and experience, persuasion and influencing skills.

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with advanced experience or knowledge. A minimum of 10 years of technical experience along with established leadership credentials across disciplines and functions within IT program/product areas.

• SAP Finance expertise including FI, CO and PS modules (Finance, Controlling and Project Systems)

• Accounting and Finance experience in a large global company

• Understanding of AI, Machine learning and data science with specialized focus on Generative AI & prompt engineering.

• Demonstrated ability of working with senior-level stakeholders to define, lead, and implement process and tools strategy to drive process improvement changes.
