Job Description Summary

We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and ship high-quality, cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI/Xamarin for Windows (WinUI), Android, and iOS. You’ll lead feature development end-to-end, define clean architecture and modular designs, integrate secure APIs, instrument apps for reliability, and drive release processes. You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams, and bring practical AI capabilities into mobile experiences where it adds value.

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Design and implement mobile applications using .NET MAUI/Xamarin targeting WinUI, Android, and iOS
• Apply clean architecture, design patterns, dependency injection, and modularization to build maintainable, testable codebases
• Integrate REST APIs with robust authentication/authorization (OAuth 2.0, JWT), token lifecycle management, and secure storage
• Implement local data storage and synchronization patterns (e.g., SQLite; platform-specific storage like Room on Android and Core Data on iOS)
• Establish and maintain test automation across unit, integration, and UI layers; ensure regression coverage and reliability
• Own release management: versioning, signing, certificates, provisioning profiles, App Store and Play Store submissions, phased rollouts, and post-release bug triage
• Set up and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) for build, test, signing, and distribution
• Instrument apps with crash reporting, analytics, and logging; define and track key mobile health metrics
• Integrate AI capabilities into mobile features (on-device or via cloud services) to enhance user experience and efficiency
• Collaborate with backend/services teams; contribute to API contracts and performance considerations
• Drive performance, accessibility, offline-first behavior, and platform-specific UX excellence
• Participate in code reviews, mentor peers, and contribute to technical documentation and standards

Must-have :

• Expert-level experience building MAUI/Xamarin apps for WinUI, Android, and iOS
• Strong understanding of design patterns, clean architecture, dependency injection, and modularization
• Practical AI skill set (e.g., integrating AI/ML features or services into mobile apps)
• Proficiency in REST API integration and API authentication (OAuth 2.0, JWT)
• Local storage and query experience: SQLite; platform-specific experience with Room (Android) and Core Data (iOS)
• Test automation experience: unit, integration, and UI automation
• Proven experience with mobile deployment and maintenance: App Store and Play Store publishing, versioning, certificates, provisioning profiles, app updates, and post-release bug fixes
• Working knowledge of CI/CD for mobile (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Hands-on experience with crash/analytics tooling and effective mobile logging techniques
• Nice to have :
• Broader .NET ecosystem knowledge
• DevOps/CI/CD tooling: GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, Groovy
• Understanding of microservices architecture and how mobile apps interface with distributed backends
• Experience with Syncfusion components
• Security best practices including SAST and DAST

Education Qualification

For roles outside USA:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with years of experience 5 to 8 years

For roles in USA:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

Desired Characteristics Technical Expertise:

• Master's Degree/ PHD in Computer Science

• Experience with Windows and Unix / Linux based programming

• Experience working on software projects in the Energy domain (Energy Management, Oil & Gas, Power & Water)

• Certified Scrum Master and/or Product Owner
  Business Acumen:

• Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems

• Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts

• Demonstrates awareness about competitors and industry trends

• Has the ability to analyze impact of technology choices
