This role manages Gas Power Services sales in China, covering plans, customer relations, growth opportunities, service solutions, and pipeline management. Requires a relevant engineering degree, 5+ years of related experience, and bilingual skills, with strong communication, industry knowledge, and customer - focus preferred.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Own the Sales, Margin and Orders Operating Plan for Gas Power Services business for the assigned customer based in China.
  • Identify opportunities to drive business growth
  • Own the business relationship with assigned customers at all levels
  • Own the entitlement process for an assigned set of turbine serial numbers (installed fleet)
  • Have the Daily management skill on deal tracking and customer management
  • Understand customers’ CTQ’s and provide service solutions for the assigned customers from outages (parts, field services, repairs) to projects ( Conversion, Modification and Upgrade, long term services agreement)
  • Own customer satisfaction and work with different functions in the business to drive solutions for product issues
  • Understand and analyze market dynamics to recommend product strategy to leadership team
  • Promote/launch new products in China and drive growth for new segments
  • Effectively communicate internally and externally
  • Responsible for assigned pipeline management, pacing, and forecasting in NEX.

Maintain NEX accuracy:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Electric Engineering or related field, MBA/Master is a plus

Strong Accountability and self-starter, strong capability to deliver what he/she committed

  • At least 5 years of experience in industry-related equipment sales, services sales or application engineering
  • Open to learn and open to change, demonstrate the willingness to walk out from its comfortable zone

Fluent in both English and Chinese:

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems

  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge of power industry market, products and services

  • Proven commercial and sales experiences in closing complex contractual agreements, preferably in power industry

  • Lean background is preferred

  • Strong communication skills and proven ability to effectively lead multi-functional teams

  • Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs

  • High proficiency in utilizing analytical software and sales tools (NEX, Excel, etc.)
