What impact you'll make?
The Process Excellence Warehouse Planning Leader will control and drive operational efficiency and excellence in our Warehouse and Crating operations. She/He is responsible for overseeing and optimizing warehouse and crating operations to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery. This role combines strategic planning, process improvement, and team leadership to ensure the warehouse and crating functions at peak performance levels while meeting company goals. Reporting to the Senior Warehouse Leader, She/He will supervise and control raw material, (direct and indirect) Finish goods, Flow processes, warehouse and crating resources calculation and provides the required support to Warehouse for production of gas turbine Components, Repair, Aero, and Energy Services Business.
Job Description
What you’ll do
- Responsible for scheduling material flow calculation and analytics provides support for staffing, work, and equipment planning, required for the receipt on warehouse activities materials handling and pick release support to shop floor.
- Lead the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives within the warehouse, identifying areas for efficiency gains, waste reduction, and quality enhancement.
- Develop process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and standard works to ensure consistency.
- Assure proper documentation of implement processes, assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with Lean procedures.
- Create, Develop, and Implement supporting tools to warehouse monitoring Inbound, outbound material. flow. Structure with Site material leader warehouse planner leader role.
- Support the warehouse team and support personal and team improvements through appropriate tools and personal coaching.
- Meet goals and objectives of respective warehouse and crating related KPIs, track results periodically and define actions if needed.
- Control a common set of KPIs, tools and practices to drive accountability across all functions of the organization.
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
- Proven materials, planning and scheduling, or inventory experience.
- Knowledge of the warehousing process and ERP functions.
- Fluent English and Hungarian knowledge
- Ability to lead employees based on his/her skills and personality to encourage his/her performance and motivation for lifelong learning.
- Working knowledge of spreadsheets, including MS Excel.
