Overview We are seeking a full-time Aeronautical Data Specialist in our St.
Louis, MO location.
In this role, you will be responsible for the attribution, processing, evaluation and maintenance of aeronautical data and the execution of Quality Assurance processes.
Essential Functions Edit, manipulate, and maintain aeronautical data using custom and 3rd party software Perform routine data entry and verification tasks Conduct testing and evaluation of GARMIN aeronautical data products Perform established operations for quality assurance Learn, understand, and apply established or new processes Work periodic over-time, holidays, and weekends as necessary Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation OR instrument rated pilot, Navigator, Air Traffic Controller, Aeronautical Analyst, or Military TERPS Specialist OR 2 years relevant experience OR substantial demonstrated aeronautical knowledge Excellent academics (cumulative GPS greater than or equal to 3.0 as a general rule) Possess an understanding of aeronautical navigation, procedures, data, and charts relevant to Garmin’s business needs Proficient computer skills - familiarity with Windows Operating System (OS), Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat
