ABOUT THE ROLE:

FOX Corporation is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our iOS engineering team. You will be responsible for building, mentoring, and scaling a high-performing team while driving technical excellence and delivery of world-class mobile experiences.

Our iOS team is responsible for developing and maintaining a suite of high-performance applications that serve millions of users worldwide. We leverage the latest technologies and frameworks to ensure our apps are not only functional but also intuitive and engaging. With a strong emphasis on code quality, scalability, and user-centric design, the team is committed to delivering products that meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.

As an Engineering Manager - iOS, you will lead and grow a high-performing team of iOS engineers, driving technical excellence and delivery of world-class mobile experiences. You will own team strategy, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and user-centric mobile solutions while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of iOS engineers

• Partner with Product, Design, and cross-functional stakeholders to define roadmap and priorities

• Drive engineering excellence through code quality, architecture decisions, and best practices

• Own team delivery — sprint planning, execution, and on-time releases

• Remove blockers and foster a collaborative, inclusive team culture

• Contribute to technical discussions and guide architectural decisions (Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit)

• Monitor app performance metrics (crash rates, hang rates) and drive continuous improvement

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 8+ years of software development experience, with 3+ years in engineering management in delivering high-quality iOS apps at scale

• Strong experience with iOS SDK, Xcode, and iOS design patterns, Proficiency in Swift and swiftUI.

• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, leading, mentoring, and developing a team of engineers.

• Experience with agile methodologies, SDLC, and building scalable systems.

• A natural coach with a passion for helping others grow, providing actionable feedback and guidance that encourages continuous improvement.

• Strong iOS technical leadership who can manage technical aspects of projects and providing clear direction to team on technical challenges

• Skilled in performance management, feedback delivery, and creating growth opportunities for engineers.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience with video streaming, media apps, or OTT platforms

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, Azure DevOps)

• Knowledge of app performance optimization and monitoring tools

• Experience with modular architecture and Swift Package Manager
