ABOUT THE ROLE:

FOX Corporation is looking for a highly skilled and experienced SDE (L2) / Senior iOS Engineer for its digital Product Engineering iOS team. The candidate should have a strong working knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and native iOS application development Skills.

Our iOS team is responsible for developing and maintaining a suite of high-performance applications that serve millions of users worldwide. We leverage the latest technologies and frameworks to ensure our apps are not only functional but also intuitive and engaging. With a strong emphasis on code quality, scalability, and user-centric design, the team is committed to delivering products that meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.

As a SDE (L2 / Senior iOS Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our iOS applications. You will lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and drive user-friendly mobile solutions.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the design and development of advanced applications for the iOS platform.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features.

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

• Experience with version control (e.g., Git), unit testing, and CI/CD principles.

• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

• A solid understanding of mobile app architecture and design patterns.

• Mentor engineers and contribute to team growth and knowledge sharing.

• Drive technical initiatives and improvements across the iOS team.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 3-7 years of professional experience in iOS development.

• Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.

• Extensive experience with Swift UI.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.

• Deep understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.

• Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools.

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.

• Experience with continuous integration and deployment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT REQUIRED

• Understanding of Video Player frameworks
