As an Vehicle Hardware Engineering (VHE) Ford Champ, you will not only support critical business operations (budget, headcount, and resource planning) but also lead the charge in modernizing our workflows. We are looking for individuals who can look at a manual process and ask, "How can I automate this using code, macros, or AI? “macros, or AI?" 

 What you´ll do:

  • Process Automation & Optimization: 
    • Analyze current administrative workflows (reporting, tracking, roster management) to identify bottlenecks.
    • Develop and deploy automation solutions (using Excel VBA/Macros, Python, or Power Automate) to reduce manual data entry.
    • Leverage AI tools (e.g., Large Language Models, Copilot) to summarize meeting notes, draft communications, and accelerate data analysis.
  • Business Operations Management: 
    • Track and analyze budget usage, specifically regarding Travel and Overtime expenses, ensuring alignment with annual forecasts.
    • Manage the creation and tracking of Purchase Orders (POs) and budget approvals.
    • Maintain accurate Team Rosters, Organizational Charts, and Distribution Lists.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: 
    • Develop "Health Charts" and dashboards to visualize status for business-related tasks.
    • Conduct ad-hoc resource studies and workload analysis to support VHE leadership.

What you´ll need:    

  • Active student from any of the last 2 semesters of Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Automotive) or a related technical discipline. 
  • 90% English skills (Oral, reading, writing, and listening)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills 
  • Advanced Microsoft Office: Deep knowledge of Excel is required. Experience creating Macros or using VBA is highly preferred.
  • Coding & Scripting: Familiarity with basic coding logic (Python, SQL, or similar) to assist in automating data tasks.
  • AI Literacy: Interest in and familiarity with using AI tools to improve productivity and streamline processes.
  • Core Competencies: 
    o    Analytical Mindset: Ability to sort through complex databases and visualize data effectively.
    o    Proactivity: A self-starter who looks for ways to improve existing systems without being asked.
    o    Communication: Strong English proficiency (written, reading, and oral) with the ability to document agreements and technical processes clearly.
  • Preferred (Bonus) Skills: 
    o    Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
    o    Understanding of Automotive Systems.
