As a Trainee in the Digital Innovation area, you will be responsible for learning and applying emerging technologies to support the Digital Transformation of Product Development (PD). Your role will involve collaborating with the Digital Transformation team and engineering stakeholders to identify inefficiencies, analyze data, and assist in the development of innovative solutions (AI, Automation, and Data Analytics) that enhance our engineering software tools (such as Teamcenter, FEDE, and VSEM).
Innovation & Development:
• 2 days onsite GTBC Ford México (Naucalpan, México)
• Support the identification of opportunities for process automation and AI-driven improvements within the engineering design environment.
• Participate in the testing and evaluation of new digital tools and software releases.
Data Analysis & Visualization:
• Analyze and manipulate data from various sources (e.g., Teamcenter, Excel) to identify trends and process bottlenecks.
• Assist in visualizing data and interpreting results to support decision-making for the Digital Transformation leadership.
• Create and maintain dashboards or reports to track the performance of digital initiatives.
Process & Collaboration:
• Actively listen to users’ concerns and feedback to understand "pain points" in current engineering processes.
• Collaborate with Engineers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to document user stories and technical requirements.
• Support the development of project plans and document user interactions/resolutions.
• Participate in communicating results and technical concepts to different audiences (technical and non-technical).
• Active student from any of the last 2 semesters of Bachelor student of Computer Engineering, Data science, Mechatronic or Aeronautical Engineering, or similar technical discipline.
• 90% English skills (Oral, reading, writing, and listening).
• Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in data analysis and data manipulation.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
