In this position...

As a Design System Designer on the Design DNA team, you will create and maintain components, libraries and patterns for the In-Vehicle and Mobile Design Systems. The Design System is used throughout Digital Product Design organization. You’ll work with other Product Designers, Software Engineers, and Product Managers to bring the Design System from creation through delivery to Ford Customers.

A portfolio submission in addition to a resume is required for consideration.

You'll have...

• 2+ Years working on design systems

• 4+ Years working in UI/UX field

• Experience designing for multiple platforms (Web, iOS, Android, etc)

• Highly Proficient with current design tools (Figma)

• Proficient with current prototyping tools (Protopie)

• Full range of interaction, visual, and prototyping skills

• Excellent presentation and documentation skills

• Excellence in visual design

• Record of leading projects to successful outcomes for users and business

• Able to precisely articulate design rationale and present to stakeholders

This position has a range of salary grades 7 - 8 and ranges from $97,140 - 190,500.

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.
