As an EESE Ford Champ you would be working in Electric and Electronic Hardware for Body Controls

 

As an EESE Ford Champ you would be working in Electric and Electronic Hardware for Body Controls

 

  • Hardware Design & Analysis: Support the development of Inverters, Outlets, Sounders by reviewing electronic schematics and PCB layouts, ensuring all components meet automotive-grade standards. 
  • Validation & Lab Testing: Perform hands-on bench testing using tools like oscilloscopes and multimeters to verify electrical signals and ensure hardware robustness.
  • Network Communication: Monitor and analyze vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, and Ethernet) using specialized software like CANoe or CANalyzer to ensure seamless module interaction.
  • Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with Tier 1 suppliers to track technical deliverables and ensure that hardware designs align with Ford’s rigorous engineering specifications.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Lead technical investigations to identify and resolve hardware failures, applying problem-solving methodologies to improve the quality of body electronic features (e.g., lighting, access systems, and power Windows).
  • ECU Packaging Analysis: conduct 3D CAD reviews, perform packaging improvements, conduct discussions with vehicle architecture and interface component teams. (3DX, TCE, VIS MockUp, CATIA)

What you´ll need:

•             Engineering Degree in progress, active student from any of the last 2 semesters of Electrical, Electronic, Systems, Mechanical – Electrical, Mechatronics, Aeronautical, Engineering

  • 90% English skills (Oral, reading, writing, and listening)
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in cross-function team environment.
  • General knowledge of vehicle functions, electronic and/or vehicle systems
  • Basic knowledge of materials properties and production process.
  • Excellent organization, communication, time/program management and presentation skills.
  • Electrical-mechanical background as these commodities have electrical and mechanical interface.
  • Attitude to learn and teamwork.
  • Working knowledge of Engineering disciplines (P-diagram, DFMEA, DVP&R, etc.).
  • A comprehensive understanding of electrical Subsystem Design Specifications
