The Service Marketing Manager will lead Vietnam FCSD in:
-
Growing all aspects of aftersales business activities & customer retention activities, including Accessory, Extended Service Business and Ford Ensure (partnership with Insurance Companies in growing car collision business)
-
Building the sales of Ford Parts in aftermarket through dealers and/or independent parts wholesale distributors
I. Service Marketing:
1. Strategic Leadership & Planning
Develop and implement the Vietnam FCSD Parts & Service Marketing strategy in alignment with IMG regional directions.
Collaborate with Revenue Management teams to develop parts pricing strategies that balance competitive positioning with profit maximization.
Champion the brand promise within the service environment, ensuring service branding is integrated into all Marketing & Sales communications.
2. Program Deployment & Sales Growth
Lead the deployment of foundational commodity programs (Tires, Batteries, Oil, and Brakes) by interfacing with regional Commodity Teams.
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of tactical marketing campaigns, from development to post-campaign ROI analysis, to drive sales and retention.
Drive penetration of Ford Genuine Accessories and implement Supplier Based Accessory (SBA) opportunities following regional operating guides.
Oversee the Extended Service Business and service protection products (e.g., Vehicle Report Card, Ford Ensure) to minimize customer defection.
3. Data-Driven Marketing & CRM
Champion the implementation and utilization of the Unified Database (UDB) to capture and analyze customer transaction data from the dealer network.
Lead CRM activities, including the launch of predictive service marketing tools, to help dealers proactively engage with customers.
Utilize data insights to identify market opportunities and refine targeting strategies.
4. Dealer & Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary interface between Vietnam operations and IMG FCSD teams.
Ensure the dealer network is fully aligned with national strategies through effective program launches, training, and communication.
Collaborate with Brand Protection teams to ensure all marketing materials and packaging meet Ford’s global standards.
5. Financial & Budgetary Oversight
Manage the FCSD Fixed and Variable Marketing budgets, ensuring all expenses is optimized and delivers measurable value.
Conduct regular "Back to Basics" reviews to ensure operational excellence in all marketing activities.
II. Parts Wholesales:
1. Strategic Network Development & Planning
Analysis of the market landscape and competitor activities to identify untapped opportunities for Ford genuine parts & define and execute Parts Wholesale Strategy to increase revenue and penetration.
2. Supply Chain Governance
Establish distributor credit limits, monitor payment performance, and manage commercial risk to ensure the financial health of the wholesale channel.
Ensure parts availability and minimize delivery lead times
Monitor distributor inventory health and conduct regular "cost-to-serve" and margin analyses to ensure the wholesale business remains profitable for both Ford and its partners.
3. Distributor Selection & Sales Growth
Select and assess potential candidates to be FADs.
Ensuring Pre-Launch Readiness (IT system, warehouse, etc,…), developing incentive programs (VM/FM), resolving the issue and maintaining relationship
Strategic Analytics to identify "lost sales" and pinpoint specific opportunities for growth, tracking performance versus objectives
1. Education background: Bachelor or Master's degree in marketing, Economic, International Business, Business Admin. M.B.A., engineering or related fields
2. Experience: 5-7 years’ experience in marketing, sales, or service in automotive industry
Experience in Wholesale/Retail Marketing and Business Development. Experience in marketing and sales of aftermarket product commodities in automotive business
Business planning and project management skills are necessary
Ford OS Leadership, Presentation, and Good Interpersonal Skills are required. Fluency in English
Others:
