Ford Business Solutions is looking for a

Senior Accountant

to join our Hungarian Accounting team in our Szentendre office.

As Senior Accountant you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial accounting, statutory compliance, and high-quality reporting for Ford Business Solutions in Hungary. This position focuses on coordinating accounting activities, supporting compliance and reporting requirements, and contributing to continuous improvement within the Accounting function.

What will be your roles and responsibilities in the team?

• Coordinate daily accounting activities and support month-end close processes
• Prepare and review account reconciliations and financial reports
• Support filing of tax returns, including VAT and online reporting
• Assist with Treasury activities and liaison with local banks
• Support annual statutory accounts (IFRS) and audits
• Contribute to accounting and finance projects and process improvements

Are we looking for you? Yes, if…

• Are fluent in English and Hungarian (written and spoken)
• Hold a university or college degree; Certified Accountant qualification is preferred
• Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting or a similar finance role
• Work in a structured, systematic way with strong attention to detail
• Have strong problem-solving skills and can perform effectively under pressure
• Enjoy working in a collaborative, international environment and taking ownership of complex accounting topics
