Ford Champs will allow to get to now different business areas through 12 months, while you improve your skills and become a better professional.

As an Suspension Program Control Ford Champ, you will support will support the Global Suspension Engineering team during a 6-month project. The primary objective is to assist in the consolidation, tracking, and reporting of engineering deliverables and milestones across all global vehicle programs. This role acts as a data integrator, ensuring that complex information from various Ford systems is translated into clear, standardized formats for management tracking and decision-making.

 

 

 What you´ll do:

•    Data Consolidation: Gather and extract program status information from multiple internal sources, including PowerBI dashboards, GPDS Integrator, and other Ford reporting sites.
•    Standardized Reporting: Create and maintain easy-to-digest reporting templates in Excel and PowerPoint to track global suspension milestones (e.g., Quality, Cost, Weight, and Timing).
•    Milestone Monitoring: Support the Suspension Program Control team in monitoring the "GPDS Integrator" to ensure global suspension deliverables are on track for upcoming program gateways.
•    Process Alignment: Assist in the design of a "Standard Tool" for status updates that aligns with Ford’s corporate metrics, ensuring it is user-friendly for the engineering team to fill and update.
•    Management Support: Prepare summary decks and data visualizations for weekly management reviews to highlight program health and potential roadblocks.

What you´ll need:     

  • Active student from any of the last 2 semesters of Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics) or a related technical field discipline. 
  • 90% English skills (Oral, reading, writing, and listening)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills 
  • Software: Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint). Ability to handle large data sets in Excel is essential.
  • Systems (Optional): Familiarity with PowerBI or Basic Macros (VBA) is a plus but not required.
    o    Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    o    High analytical capability to synthesize information from different sources.
    o    Proactive attitude with a focus on process improvement.
    o    Ability to work in a fast-paced, global team environment.
