In this position...
- The Portfolio and Intake Lead is responsible for the health and velocity of the Ford Credit initiative funnel.
- This role ensures a high-quality, steady flow of proposals into the LEPMO, guiding them from initial "One-Pager" concepts through Lean Business Case development and into the Discovery pipeline.
- Beyond managing the intake "gate," this role provides critical program management leadership for high-priority initiatives in line with the LEPMO operating principles.
You'll have...
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8–10 years of experience in PMO, portfolio management, or intake management, for complex programs, experience with Lean-Agile processes preferred.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale programs ($10M+ scope) and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
- Strong command of Lean-Agile methodologies, stage-gate governance, and prioritization frameworks (RICE, WSJF).
- Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Share Point, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
Even better, you may have...
- MBA or PMP/Agile certification is a plus.
- Experience in Ford Credit or financial services transformation programs.
- Experience using portfolio analytics to influence executive-level resource allocation and prioritization decisions.
- Demonstrated success in coaching teams to move from traditional project mindsets to outcome-based, Lean-Agile delivery.

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.
What you'll do...
- Strategic Intake and Portfolio Governance Manage the end-to-end Project Intake process including intake agenda preparation, serving as the primary point of contact for business leads to ensure all submissions (One-Pagers, PRDs) are complete, high-quality, and strategically aligned and
- Maintain the initiative backlog and coordinate with the Project Intake Committee to prioritize candidates for solution discovery.
- Coordinate the intake committee cadence meetings, and ensure timely submission of required meeting content (Lean Business Case/One-Pager, PRD where applicable).
- Facilitate collaboration between Finance, Product, and Technology teams to synchronize funding, capacity planning, and technical dependencies.
- Develop and monitor intake metrics and real-time dashboards to identify bottlenecks in the pipeline and provide visibility into backlog aging and readiness.
- Support cross-functional communication and ensure stakeholders follow the established LEPMO processes.
- Manage a subset of high-priority programs within the portfolio, enabling end-to-end execution, timeline, and value realization.
- Other special projects as assigned by management.
